Mapua cycle and shuttle – day trip
Our most popular day ride is a coastal treat. Starting from our Tahunanui Beach base, you’ll follow the sun-drenched coastline, cruising past wineries and cafés before crossing a scenic bridge to Rabbit Island.
After enjoying its expansive beach, hop aboard the charming Mapua ferry and glide across to the delightful Mapua Wharf, home to art galleries, eateries, and boutique shops. Indulge in local flavours before your return shuttle back to Nelson. Pure bliss.

Great Taste Wine Tour – self-guided day trip
Explore the coast and wine country that surrounds the Great Taste Trail. Relax with friends, linger at wineries, cafés, restaurants and galleries, and take a ferry to the magical village of Mapua.
